We are very pleased to announce the formation of “The Dr. Robert J. Rapoport Fund”.
Former Society President, longtime Society and Foundation Board member, and Chair of the Society’s Government Affairs Committee, neuroradiologist Robert J. Rapoport, MD, FACR has agreed to donate $18,000 to the New York State Radiological Society Foundation to finance webinars, seminars, presentations, lectures, and similar educational activities related to radiology in 2025 and 2026.
The specific topics for these activities will be selected by the Foundation in conjunction with the Society. Potential topics include advocacy, lobbying, legislation and government affairs, workforce issues, legal topics, and economic issues. Please let us know if you have any recommendations for topics and/or speakers.
